Custom Wedding Bands

Comfort fit, matched pairs, and a profile that sits flush.

A wedding band looks simple and is not. The interior profile, the edge treatment, the width and the way it sits against an engagement ring are four separate decisions, and getting one wrong is why people stop wearing a band after a year.

Comfort fit, properly explained

A comfort-fit band has a slightly domed interior, so only the edges touch the finger. It feels lighter and is easier to remove, at the cost of a marginally looser fit. For bands 5 mm and wider it is almost always the right choice; for a 2 mm band it changes very little.

Sitting flush against the engagement ring

If the engagement ring has a low gallery or a wide basket, a straight band will not sit flush — there will be a gap. Two solutions: a curved (contoured) band that follows the basket, or a slightly narrower straight band that tucks under it. Send us a photograph of the engagement ring in profile and we will draw the band against it.

Finishes and details

Mirror polish, brushed, satin or hammered. Millgrain edges, hand-engraved dates, a hidden stone inside the band, or a fingerprint etched on the interior. All of it is done in-house, and all of it can be quoted before you commit.

Matched pairs

We cast both bands from the same alloy batch so the color matches exactly, and we finish them together so the surface texture is identical. That detail is invisible until a pair made months apart sits next to each other in a photograph.

How long does a custom piece take?+

Quote in one business day, CAD in 3–6 days, wax in 7–10, finished piece 12–18 business days after you approve the CAD. Complex hand engraving or matched stone sets take 21–25 days.

Do I have to pay before I see the design?+

No. The quote and the first CAD render are free. A 50% deposit is due only after you approve the CAD, and the balance before dispatch.

Can I change the design after I approve the CAD?+

Yes, up to the wax stage — two revision rounds are included. After the wax is approved, dimensions and stone placement are fixed because the piece is cast from that model.

What if I do not have a stone yet?+

We source it. Tell us the shape, millimeter size and budget, and we will send photographs and prices of available stones before designing the mounting.

Can you work with a stone I already own?+

Regularly. Send photographs and its measurements; if it needs to be shipped, we issue a reference number and the insured address first. We photograph it on arrival so there is a record of its condition.

Do you make men’s rings and signets?+

Yes — bands from 3 mm to 10 mm, domed or flat, brushed or black finishes, plus signets with hand engraving, inlay and stone-set faces.

Can you copy a design I saw somewhere?+

We can design something in the same spirit. We do not reproduce another brand’s proprietary design exactly, and we will tell you if a request is too close to a protected design.

Do you take rush orders?+

Sometimes. Rush production is possible for a fee depending on the bench load — ask before ordering, not after. We will say no rather than promise a date we cannot hold.
