Coverage

Every piece we make is covered against manufacturing faults — a loose stone caused by a poorly cut seat, a failed solder joint, a clasp that does not close, plating that lifts without wear. This cover runs for 12 months from delivery on workmanship, and is separate from the 30-day return window.

It does not cover accidental damage, wear and tear, scratches, loss, theft, or work carried out by another jeweller. Sterling silver tarnish is not a fault; it is chemistry, and it is covered on our care page.

Free within 30 days

Within 30 days of delivery we tighten stones, re-polish, re-plate rhodium and resize (up to two sizes, where the design allows) at no charge. You pay return freight to us; we pay the freight back.

After 30 days

Repairs are quoted before any work begins. Typical costs:

Repair turnaround is typically 10–20 days including transit. Customers are responsible for shipping the piece to us; we quote the return freight with the repair.

Eternity bands and full-pavé shanks

These cannot usually be resized without visible damage to the setting line. In most cases we remake the shank in the correct size, which is quoted as a partial remake rather than a resize. We will tell you which situation applies before you send the ring.

How to start a repair

Email service@holycome.com with photographs and the order number.
We confirm coverage and quote any charge, in writing.
You ship the piece insured, with the repair reference on the outside.
We repair, photograph the result and return it tracked.
